CLIENT: PORSCHE ZENTREN BERLIN

EVENT: 911 PREMIERE

PARTNERS: LAUTWERFER

MISSION: MAPPING- AND LIGHTING-SHOW

YEAR: 2019, MARCH

We were in charge of creating the opening show for the reveal of the new Porsche 911 in Berlin.

Within two weeks of preparation in conception and creation we realized the concept within two nights of rehearsal, integrating the Arkaos Mediaserver (Media Master Pro) into the timecode controlleld and programmed lighting-show of the Grand MA3 desk and were ready to take the 400 guests on a timetravel journey by  Hollywood-films, showing snippets of them where a Porsche was involved, to support and underline Dietmar Wunder as speaker on stage - who is the voiceover of the German James Bond and also the voice behind all Porsche commercial spots.

The entire project took us 2 weeks of planning, renderings, soundcreations and testruns to provide a timecoded mapping projection and lighting-show for the gala-dinner with a final audiovisual set that was integrating the first Porsche 911 from the early 1960s and the latest model on stage in a magic-illusion-like and breathtaking live-performance. The challenge with the integration of both cars was to hide them not only by cloth but also in combination with mapping projection on the screens in front of the cars and from the top in combination with lightsources that enabled us to light all scenes and the cars individually without disturbing eachother.

Berlin based Lautwerfer GmbH was in charge of the entire technical solution on location and in combination with the smooth cooperation of agency Hundertsieben, this special night will be remebered.
